Hue Kedge is a Vietnamese-born, Australian mixed-media artist whose work explores identity, transformation, belonging and the experiences that shape us. Her practice combines photography, paint, texture, stitching and gold leaf, using layers to reflect how identity is formed through memory, culture, challenge and change. Known for figurative, expressive and colourful work, Hue is now exploring a quieter visual language through subtle palettes, sculptural texture, negative space and larger-scale compositions. While this marks a new direction, mixed media and identity remain central. Her work invites viewers to look beyond the surface and discover personal meaning within each individual carefully created layer.
