Represented Sculptures
COAT OF ARMS (KANGAROO & EMU)
These striking large-scale corten steel sculptures depict the kangaroo and emu from the Australian Coat of Arms — symbols of strength, resilience, and forward movement. Handcrafted from over 500 individual steel components, each sculpture stands approximately two metres tall and naturally develops a rich rusted patina over time, allowing the works to evolve beautifully within their environment.
Designed to make a bold statement in civic, corporate, or private spaces, the pair embodies a strong connection to the Australian landscape and identity.
Price: $33,000 (pair)
Wendy and Robert Badke are Boonah-based artists renowned for their large-scale corten steel sculptures that celebrate the Australian landscape and national identity. Their work combines technical precision with organic form, creating pieces that are both visually powerful and deeply symbolic.

PERSPECTIVES ON LIFE exhibition
30 Sep- 25th Oct 2025, Creative Hearts Co., Brookwater QLD 4300
Rhiannon Hetherington from RHM Art is a contemporary portrait and figurative artist whose work explores the emotional landscapes of women’s lives—her visual language forged from vulnerability, resilience, and transformation. Operating under her creative alias RMH Art, she creates with bold brush strokes and layered textures to evoke inner dialogue, healing, and strength.
From a young age, Rhiannon was drawn to storytelling. Over time, her devotion to narrative found its voice in paint, and as her life evolved through motherhood and personal challenges, art became both sanctuary and expression: a way to reconcile internal struggle and external expectation. Her practice centres on female figures and portraits, not idealised but real—women confronting identity, pain, resurgence, and the complexity between.
Her upcoming solo exhibition “If She Spoke: Stories from Struggle to Strength” at the Brisbane Showgrounds John Reid Pavillion, presents 30 large-scale works intimately paired with real women’s stories of adversity and reclamation, shining a light on mental health and the power of speaking truth. As the Feature Artist for Creative Hearts Co. in the Perspectives on Life exhibition, her work amplifies voices around mental health—turning silence into conversation, pain into beauty, and struggle into strength.
In the lead up to this event we are showcasing four of her powerful pieces at the gallery. We also invite you to join us on Friday 24th October for a mix and mingle at our celebration event where you can meet Rhiannon and share in her mission to spotlight these incredible women and their stories.

SEEDS OF CHANGE exhibition
2–27 September 2025, Creative Hearts Co., Brookwater QLD 4300
This September, Creative Hearts Co. proudly presents Hue Kedge, a Springfield-based mixed media artist, photographer, and co-founder of Creative Hearts Co., as our Feature Artist for the Seeds of Change exhibition.
Hue’s art practice is a rich fusion of photography and traditional mixed media. She begins by photographing real people, then layers those images with paint, textures, embroidery, and shimmering touches of gold leaf. Hand-stitched details and symbolic motifs run through her works, echoing the threads of resilience and self-discovery in her own journey.
Her figurative artworks often integrate the human form with nature, resulting in striking pieces filled with vibrant colours and emotive beauty. Figurative yet symbolic, her work is designed to be felt as much as it is seen — inviting connection and reflection.
On display are limited edition prints from her debut collection, Unravel — a deeply personal body of work that honours self-expression, embraces identity, and celebrates the journey.
With this exhibition, Hue also launches her private commissions, offering clients the opportunity to transform their personal stories into timeless one of a kind artworks, created of them and for them.
The Seeds of Change exhibition celebrates the arrival of spring and the possibilities of growth, renewal, and transformation. Alongside Hue’s work, more than 20 local artists present their own interpretations of the theme, each exploring what “change” means through vibrant colour, symbolism, and imagination.
